Accessing, Correcting, and Deleting Your Information

You can review and change your information by logging into your account through the Platform and visiting your account profile page. We may not be able to delete your information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If you delete your posts from public areas of the Website, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users.

California “Shine the Light” Disclosure

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not currently disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age or 16 years of age for those who habitually reside in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. Data Security & Retention

Security of Your Information

All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology through our third-party payment processor. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and thus, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our Services.

If you register to create an account with us, it’s important that you select a strong password and we ask you not to disclose your password with others. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website, like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

We retain case documents for at least 60 days following the resolution of each case.
