This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we process the information we collect from you or that you provide when you visit the website www.neweraadr.com and its affiliated links (collectively the “Website”), and its alternative dispute resolution platform at http://app.neweraadr.com (the “Platform”), whether as a guest or a registered user (the Website and Platform collectively, the “Services”),  and when you interact with the Company through the Services, whether online, mobile, or if you otherwise contact us.

Accessing, Correcting, and Deleting Your Information

You can review and change your information by logging into your account through the Platform and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an email at [email protected] to request access to, correct, or delete any information that you have provided to us. We may not be able to delete your information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If you delete your posts from public areas of the Website, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users.

California “Shine the Light” Disclosure

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not currently disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age or 16 years of age for those who habitually reside in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. No one under these ages may provide any personal information to or on the Website or Platform. Security of Your Information

We have implemented measures designed to secure your information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology through our third-party payment processor. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and thus, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our Services.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. If you register to create an account with us, it’s important that you select a strong password and we ask you not to disclose your password with others. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website, like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Retention of Your Information

We retain information for different periods of time depending on the purposes for which we collect and use it, as described in this Policy. Generally, we will delete or de-identify your information when it is no longer needed to fulfill these purposes unless a longer retention period is required to comply with applicable laws. We retain case documents for at least 60 days following the resolution of each case. There may be technical or other operational reasons where we are unable to fully delete or de-identify your information. Where this is the case, we will take reasonable measures to prevent further processing your information.

Please note that we are located in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that we process and store your information in the United States. Your information will be protected subject to this Policy and United States laws, which may not be as protective as the data protection laws in your country.
